Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms carefully. By participating in any class provided by TRI SHINE FITNESS & WELLNESS you consent to, and agree to release the Instructor from liability according to, these terms. Unless the Instructor notifies you otherwise, this waiver and release will apply to all classes undertaken by you with the Instructor.
You acknowledge that:
· you are over 16 years of age;
· you understand that the classes are a form of physical activity and that there are inherent risks in undertaking any form of physical exercise;
· you have disclosed, or will disclose to the Instructor prior to the class commencing, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate in a class, this includes, but is not limited to:
o injuries, pain or recent surgery;
o pregnancy or if you have recently given birth; or
o respiratory or heart conditions or high blood pressure.
· you will notify the Instructor if you experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if requested by the Instructor to do so;
· based on information you provide, the Instructor may decide not to allow you to participate in a class, or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate in a class before allowing you to join, in the Instructor’s sole discretion;
· recommendations or instruction provided by the Instructor may not be tailored for your particular skill or ability level and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a class;
· you are solely responsible for ensuring that your physical environment is suitable for your participation in any class; and
· classes may be recorded for by the Instructor for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the Instructor using video or still images taken during the class for promotional purposes, please notify the Instructor.
To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold the Instructor & business (and where applicable its, directors, employees and representatives) harmless from any liability, cost, expense, damages or claims (including claims of negligence) arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any classes provided by the Instructor.
Studio Health & Safety Protocol
TRI SHINE Wellness welcomes change, as we progress into this new age we are delighted to offer a safe and supportive environment to practice in. Here are our safety plans, please know things may evolve as we continue to serve you in the best way possible. Your health and safety is our priority.
We are committed to doing our best to keep your path to wellness safe and fun. All attendees must follow these rules for the care and consideration of everyone. Any client or teacher not willing to follow these rules will be asked to leave.
No one (client or team member) may enter if they are ill or have recently been exposed to Covid-19.
Any client or teacher showing any symptom of illness will be asked to leave.
Walking into the door at our studio means you self certify that you are fever free.
Clients are to walk in to the studio and provide their name to reception to check in.
Wipes will be provided, please wipe any mat, equipment, or prop after class.
Teachers will only assist with transactions if a client has a credit card on file.
Mat spaces are marked to provide optimal space.
Behaviour / Etiquette
Respect and care will be given to all. Anybody who threatens the safety of other attendees or the studio will be asked to leave.
Team
Safety training completed.
Open dialogue about safety.
As always, we reserve the right to change the teacher at the last minute. If a teacher is sick, we will do our best to find a sub. We ask all clients to show flexibility and understanding when this takes place.
Booking Classes
Booking reservations online are essential in order to secure your spot. Yoga mats and towels are provided free of cost. Socks are required for all Pilates Reformer classes. Sneakers or cycle shoes with SPD clips are required for Cycle classes.
We may add or change class offerings at the studio, including changing class times, schedules, teachers, opening and closing hours, our services, membership fees and policies. There may be a reduced schedule during holiday periods.
Cancellation Policy
Booking open 14 days prior to class.
Our All-Access Pre-paid Membership will allow 1 class booking per day – additional classes can be attended for $15 additional based on availability.
Please arrive early to get settled before your class as we do not allow for late entry, as it is distracting for other students and can miss the warm-up. For security reasons, the door to the studio will be locked during class sessions. Please check in at reception before entering studios.
4 hour cancellation window, if you are not able to attend your booking please cancel at least 4 hours prior to your class start time.
All class cancellations must be made via your Account (Momence Schedule) either online or via the app. We do not accept class cancellations via email or phone call, unless there is an emergency.
If you book a class and fail to cancel your booking at least 4 hours prior you will be charged a $15 Late Cancellation fee (with the exception of 10 class pass holders, 8x/12x/16x monthly members who will lose a class).
If you simply do not show for your booking you will be charged a $25 No-Show charge.
Bookings cannot be accepted without a credit card on file.
The Late Cancel and No-Show fees are non-refundable. If we charged in error please email info@trishinewellness.com and we are can refund.
These policies apply to ALL classes.
The cancellation and booking policy is in place to ensure everyone has a fair chance to attend, and no space is wasted.
Waitlist Policy
Please treat the waitlist like you are booking a class.
When a space in the class becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically moved into the class. Spaces that are canceled inside of the 4 hour cancellation window will be charged the usual late fee and the space will be made available for anyone to book online.
You will receive an email when you are booked into a class via the waitlist. Please note, if you don’t confirm or cancel the booking the system will still consider you booked into the class as the spot is held for you. If you do not show up for class you will be charged the no-show fee as per our Cancellation Policy.
Please be mindful of this when booking the waitlist for early morning classes as it is possible you will be automatically enrolled into a class during the night. Please treat the waitlist like you are booking a class. If you have added yourself to the waitlist and no longer want to attend the class, please cancel the waitlisted classes via your Account (Momence Schedule).
Membership and Pass Terms and Conditions
Intro Trial Pass: For NEW students only, or returning longer than 6+ months – strictly 1 Trial Pass per person. Valid from your first class booking, not purchase date. You have 12 months to activate your pass. No suspensions or extensions available. Please choose your Trial Pass carefully as you can only purchase one trial pass.
Concession Packages & Memberships: Are available with a valid identification (discount for students, health care workers, teachers, and seniors 55+)
Monthly Membership:
Studio Membership Payments are debited from your credit card fortnightly/monthly (depending on membership). We do not accept bank account payments or AMEX.
You can book classes under your membership from your selected start date.
All-Access Membership includes maximum 1 class booking per day.
Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Membership is 3 Months minimum.
At least 7 Day notice period before your next scheduled payment is required for membership cancellation or can be done on the Booking System Momence. Emailed to: info@trishinewellness.com
Payments will continue until further notice from you.
Suspensions on Memberships
(Please know we do not extend Packages or Intro Trials)
Suspensions* must be requested in writing via email with your start and end date. We require 7 days’ notice before your next scheduled payment to process your suspension request.
If you have a membership payment scheduled during this notice period – the payment will be processed and cannot be reversed.
The minimum suspension period is 7 days and you can suspend for a maximum of 56 days annually.
Days that have been paid for will be made available for use at the end of the suspension.
Pre-Paid Memberships
(Please know some of these memberships are only sold during special membership promotions):
Pre-paid Memberships can be transferred to another member at a cost of $100. It can take 48 hours to process the transfer once we have the details from you.
The minimum suspension period is 7 days and must be emailed notice 5 business days prior. We are are unable to backdate suspensions. Please email: info@trishinewellness.com
